35th Annual JSCC Foundation Golf Tournament

Tournament Information

Come join us for the fun and competition of the James Sprunt Community College Foundation’s 35th Annual Golf Tournament. The tournament is being held on Thursday, September 24 at the Duplin Country Club in Kenansville, NC. Besides the fun you’ll have, your entry fee will be a donation in support of the Foundation and the work it does to promote James Sprunt Community College. Team entry fee includes green fees, cart rental, gifts, refreshments, and lunch for each player. Prizes will be awarded to winners for a longest drive contest, a putting contest, and a closest-to-the-pin contest. Lunch will be served to all players. The tournament is a shotgun start and team captains have an opportunity to choose their own teams, regardless of individual handicaps.

Your choice of shotgun start at 8:30am or 1:00pm. Registration begins 30 minutes prior to start. Lunch begins at 11am for all players. 


  • Costs $10 per mulligan & red bomb combo.
  • Maximum purchase of two mulligan & red bomb combinations per player.
  • Players can use one mulligan and red bomb for the front nine and one combination for the back nine.
  • The purchase of a mulligan also includes one red bomb per player except #2 Hole-in-One.

  • Mulligans are non-transferable.

Buick Hole-in-One

  • Hole-in-One on #2 wins a two-year lease on a 2020 Buick, sponsored by Bill Carone Chevrolet – GMC – Buick – Ford!
  • Hole-in-One must be verified by designated staff
  • No mulligans, red tees, or practice shots are permitted on GM-sponsored prize holes to be eligible for prizes.
  • Only amateurs are eligible for prizes on GM-sponsored holes.
  • Other GM-sponsored prizes available on other par-3 holes.
  • Closest-to-Pin/Longest Drive
  • Closest-to-Pin contest holes are #6 (men) and #14 (ladies).
  • Longest Drive for men – #1. Longest drive for ladies – #9.

Putting Contest

  • When you make the turn from #18 green to #1 tee, please stop by and do the putting contest for $10 per person.
  • The player with the shortest distance to the hole wins half the cash.
  • If there are multiple hole-in-ones, the cash will be split accordingly.

  • All prizes will be awarded at the afternoon presentation.
