CDL / Truck Driving Program

According to Simply Hired, the average starting salary for a truck driver in Duplin County, North Carolina ranges from $35,000 – $50,000 per year.


There will be 8 week and 12 week training programs offered through our continuing education division that will help to prepare those interested in becoming a licensed commercial driver to obtain the appropriate credentials necessary. Training includes classroom instruction as well as driver training.

Admissions Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must hold a valid North Carolina Driver’s License with no limiting restrictions
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate/transcript OR take and pass a Reading Placement Test
  • Must pass a DOT Physical (1 year minimum)
  • Must pass a DOT Drug Screen
