The following online, fast forward classes will begin December 4 and end on December 31.

• EDU 216 Foundations of Education

  • These accelerated courses are taught 100% online and will cover the same amount of content as a 16-week course.
  • Preregistration/Registration runs from October 30th through December 3rd. For more information, please contact student services at 910-275-6360.
  • Classes are open to new and current students, as well as to those who are enrolled other colleges that may want to take extra classes to transfer back to their home institution.

How do I register for class?
New students must first complete the JSCC Application. Make sure to select fall 2019 semester, and if you plan to transfer this course to your home school, select Special Student as your program. Returning JSCC students should contact their advisor.

Once your application has been processed (approximately 24 hours) email Andy Cavenaugh or Anita Whitman to register for class (acavenaugh@jamessprunt.edu, awhitman@jamessprunt.edu). In your email request, please include your full name and the course(s) you would like to register for. You will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your registration form once it has been processed. If you have questions you may reach them by phone at 910-275-6312 or 910-275-6311.

When are tuition and fees due?

Tuition must be paid by 5:00 pm on December 3rd.

How and when do I pay?

Students may pay in person at the Business Office located in the McGowen Building. Students who would like to pay by phone with a credit card should call the business office at 910-275-6132.

How do I login to my JSCC email and Moodle?

To login to your email and Moodle, you will need your username which can be located in WebAdvisor. Select “Students” from the main menu, then select “What’s my User ID?” and follow the on screen prompt. What are the textbook requirements?

Textbook requirements are listed in the syllabi which can be located at the top of this page. Students may opt to purchase their textbooks online or through our campus bookstore but students must have their books the first day of class.

How do I request a transcript?

Transcripts may be requested AFTER January 3rd, 2020. Complete the online transcript request.

When will my courses be available?

All holiday classes will be opened in Moodle by 8:00 am on December 4th. Students must login and complete an assignment by 5:00 pm on December 5th to remain in the course.
