The James Sprunt Community College Small Business Center was established by the State Department of Community Colleges in July 1988.

What is the Small Business Center?

 

Mission

The mission of the Small Business Center is to increase the success rate of small businesses in Duplin County and surrounding communities by assisting prospective and established small business persons to reach their potential by utilizing all resources available to the network.

Welcome to Roxanne Reed

Roxanne Reed, of Granit Training Group LLC, will be joining forces with the Small Business Center at James Sprunt as a General Business Counselor. She will be spearheading the Reboot, Recover, and Rebuild (R3) program for small businesses impacted by COVID-19, as well as offering training seminars.

Roxanne has extensive experience working to both launch and grow small businesses across the state. As a business owner and advocate for the last 25 years, she has developed a phenomenal reputation with industry leaders as a highly trusted business developer, problem-solver, and critical decision-maker.

Ms. Reed is also a specialist in helping small businesses navigate lending needs to include the SBA EIDL, PPP (Paycheck Protection Program), and a number of North Carolina COVID-19 grants and loan programs.

With Roxanne’s proven public speaking skills, networking, and program development expertise, JSCC is confident she will be able to help a significant number of business owners, not only survive, but thrive during these challenging times.
