Earning a High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma in North Carolina requires passing either the GED or HiSET assessments, both of which are administered locally. James Sprunt Community College (JSCC) in Kenansville offers fee-waived preparation classes (morning, evening, and online) and hosts testing services. Upon passing, the North Carolina State Board of Community Colleges issues the credential.
