The 12-week Electrical Lineworker Program provides students the opportunity to embark on a rewarding career in the electrical linework industry. This is accomplished by providing training methods that have proven extremely effective in preparing students to be highly successful employees.

Long sleeve shirts and pants are required each day of class

Graduates of the JSCC Electrical Lineworker program will develop many skills through the provided training including:
- The ability to identify and demonstrate safe workplace practices
- Proper use and maintenance of PPE
- Safe operations and inspections of equipment and poles
- Ability to climb and perform various duties on poles
- Construction of overhead lines, consisting of single-phase, two-phase, and three-phase lines within the time frame and parameters of the class
- Demonstrate pole-top rescue techniques
- Demonstration Bucket Truck Rescue
- Competency in the Fall Arrest technique
- Knot Tying
