The 12-week Electrical Lineworker Program provides students the opportunity to embark on a rewarding career in the electrical linework industry. This is accomplished by providing training methods that have proven extremely effective in preparing students to be highly successful employees.

- NC Flagger
- Pole Top Rescue
- Bucket Truck Rescue
Course Specifics:
Graduates of the JSCC Electrical Lineworker will develop many skills through the provided training.
Some specific skills obtained will be:
- The ability to identify and demonstrate safe workplace practices
- Proper use and maintenance of PPE
- Safe operations and inspections of equipment and poles
- Ability to climb and perform various duties on poles
- Construction of overhead lines, consisting of single-phase, two-phase, and three-phase lines-all within the time frame and parameters of class
- Demonstrate Pole Top Rescue techniques
- Demonstration Bucket Truck Rescue
- Competency in Fall Arrest technique
- Knot Tying
