From First Frosting to Fabulous Cakes! Learn the basic of decorating a layer cake such as: making icing the correct consistency, filling and stacking layer cakes, and basic decorating skills.
General Supplies needed: cake spatulas large & small (offset & straight.) Piping bags, couplers, turntable, flower nails large & small, cake combs, cake boards, gel food coloring, toothpicks, kitchen towels, paper towels, baby wipes, bowls, spoons, rubber spatulas, parchment paper, cling wrap. Students will also have to provide Wilton tips for cake decorating. Supply list for tips needed will be given in class.
