Notary Public Education (November Weekday)

This course is designed to meet the educational requirements established by the State of North Carolina for individuals seeking appointment as a Notary Public.  Participants will gain a thorough understanding of North Carolina notary laws, duties, responsibilities, and ethical standards.  Topics include proper notarial procedures, identification requirements, acknowledgments, oaths and affirmations, journal and recordkeeping practices, and fraud prevention.  Upon successful completion of the course, eligible participants will satisfy the state-mandated training requirement necessary to apply for a North Carolina Notary Public commission.

Students must possess a valid North Carolina driver’s license and have a copy of the North Carolina Notary Public Manual (2026 edition) to participate in the course.
