The Clerical Assistant for the NC Works/WIOA department is a part-time, temporary position (15–20 hours per week) held during the fall and spring semesters. Under the supervision of Lynne Moore, this role exists to assist with general clerical duties and support the daily operations of the front office. Primary responsibilities include:
The Clerical Assistant also provides customer assistance, supports staff members as needed, and picks up mail.
Qualified candidates should have some filing experience, a professional front-office appearance, and exceptional phone skills. Strong computer and typing abilities are essential, along with a courteous demeanor and the ability to work well with others. A preference is given to bilingual applicants (English/Spanish).
