Pathways to Excellence
The Pathways to Excellence program is a partnership between UNCW and 47 Community Colleges within the North Carolina system. It is a pathway for guaranteed transfer admission to UNCW for students completing an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Engineering with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) in transferable college-level coursework.
As a pathway for guaranteed transfer admission, the Pathways to Excellence program does not apply to first-year admission. Students planning to apply asĀ first-year students, including dual-enrolled or early college high school students, should not pursue the Pathways to Excellence program.
