JSCC IS THANKFUL FOR THE PARTNERSHIP THAT EXISTS BETWEEN DECHS AND THE COLLEGE.
KENANSVILLE, NC, Thursday, May 23rd, 2024: On Thursday, May 23rd, Duplin Early College High School students turned their tassels with pride. James Sprunt Community College extends hearty congratulations to the students and wishes them the best in their educational and career success endeavors. The two schools work together to ensure that students receive a quality educational experience that will lead to opportunities they may not have otherwise obtained.
Many from this elite group of seniors are graduating high school with a high school diploma and a college Associate Degree or Certificate to practice a trade. This spring, 30 students received a JSCC Associate Degree, and 26 received various Certificates.
President Dr. Jay Carraway and Dr. Dustin Walston, Vice President of Curriculum/Chief Academic Officer, addressed the students with heartfelt words and well wishes. We are all very proud of your accomplishments, DECHS! Go Mavericks!
