College Transfer (CTP) & Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathways Eligibility
CCP Eligibility
- If you are a high school junior or senior with an unweighted GPA of 2.8 or higher, you are eligible.
- If you are a high school freshman or sophomore, your eligibility requirements will be different. Please work with your high school counselor or the James Sprunt CCP liaison to determine eligibility.

- 9th/10th-grade CTP: Be identified as AIG, demonstrate college readiness in reading and mathematics on an approved assessment (See attachment below for college readiness scores), receive a recommendation from the high school principal and AIG coordinator, received approval of the chief academic officer at James Sprunt Community College, receive written consent of the student’s parent/guardian, and receive academic advising
- 9th/10th grade CTE (Under Temporary Rule for 2021-2022): Have the recommendation of the high school principal, recommendation of the Chief Academic Officer, pass Math I with a C or better (temporary rule: P or better), and score a 3,4, or 5 on the 7th or 8th grade ELA. CTE options will be limited for 9th and 10th graders.
