We are incredibly proud to celebrate JSCC Fire Academy graduate Austin Boahn of Albertson, who was recently awarded the Chief’s Award by the Albertson Volunteer Fire Department!

Austin earned this honor through his diligence, excellence, and commitment to serving his community. In 2025 alone, he completed 516 total training hours at AVFD, including 450 academy hours right here at JSCC. This is the highest number of training hours by far, a remarkable achievement that reflects his unwavering dedication to the heroic work of firefighting. 🔥

Austin’s passion, grit, and heart for service shine brightly, and we could not be more honored to be a part of his journey.
