JSCC Small Business Spotlight: Andres Auto Shop, LLC 🚗

Israel Andres and his wife Kristi have owned Andres Auto Shop for 11 years. As they decided to transition their family business from a part-time to full-time operation, they knew becoming a registered LLC was the next step.

“I probably could have done this on my own, but I just needed someone to hold my hand and guide me through the process,” said Kristi.

That helping hand came from Joy Wynne, Small Business Director and Associate Dean of Continuing Education/WestPark. “The Small Business Center is proud to be a resource for small businesses at every stage,” said Wynne.

In just a thirty-minute appointment, the Andres family was off and running! They took advantage of the free business counseling offered through the JSCC Small Business Center, and Joy’s personal approach gave Kristi the confidence she needed to move forward.

“The process was so simple. Joy volunteered to help me and I am so glad she did,” Kristi said.

Kristi shared that Joy was flexible, building her time around the family’s busy schedule. Since December, Kristi reports that business has seen a slight uptick — and they’re hopeful for even more growth in the new year.

“I would suggest to anyone wanting to grow their business to take advantage of this free resource,” said Kristi.
