EMPLOYEE ACHIEVEMENT REFLECTS JSCC’S CONTINUED COMMITMENT TO STUDENT SUCCESS, PROFESSIONAL GROWTH, AND COMMUNITY IMPACT
James Sprunt Community College recently celebrated the success of twelve faculty and staff members who completed the InsideTrack Coaching to Advance Micro-credential, an opportunity made possible through the generosity of the John M. Belk Endowment in March 2026.
Designed to strengthen student support and success initiatives, the professional development program provided participants with valuable coaching strategies and tools to better guide students throughout their educational journeys. Participants completed four 90-minute virtual training sessions, four one-hour individual leadership coaching sessions, asynchronous reflection exercises, and a final skill demonstration through role-play with a certified InsideTrack Coach and Trainer. Upon successful completion of all program requirements, participants earned 1.0 Continuing Education Unit (CEU).
The commitment and dedication demonstrated by these twelve employees reflects James Sprunt Community College’s continued investment in excellence and student-centered service. Completing this credential required a significant investment of time and effort, and the achievement of a 100% completion and success rate among participants is a tremendous accomplishment for JSCC.
The InsideTrack Coaching to Advance program focused on helping employees develop stronger coaching practices, enhance student engagement, and provide meaningful support to students as they work toward achieving their educational goals.
Dr. Shakeena White, Vice President of Student Services at JSCC, said:
